Gisela Gips

Gisela is the General Manager Planning, Technical and Environment for BHP Potash, based in Saskatoon. A Chemical Engineer by profession, she has used this as a backdrop to transform business, technical and people processes all through her career. Having worked for a number of global mining companies across different geographies in multiple commodities, she understands the need for mining to transform, and quickly. With her vision of nature and technology and harmony, she believes she is in the best place possible to help influence this transformation. She is also mother to a pre-teen and a 7 year old, who keep her feet firmly on the ground!
