Tricia Wilhelm

Tricia Wilhelm is a social performance and sustainability leader with more than 23 years of experience in the mining and financial services industries. She is currently the Group Head of Social Impact at Anglo American Plc based in London, UK and has been with the company for more than 12 years. During that time she has held several different leadership roles and has been leading the global Social Impact discipline since June 2023. In this role she is responsible for the Group-wide strategy covering the full breadth of social performance and socio-economic and social development programmes that are implemented across Anglo American’s global footprint. She also has leadership accountability for the Anglo American Social Way framework which houses the company’s social performance standards, policies and guidance which align with international best practice approaches on social performance and human rights. Prior to Anglo American, Tricia spent 10 years at Export Development Canada where she held the positions of Political and Human Rights Analyst for Sub-Saharan Africa and Lead Social Specialist. Tricia has a Bachelor of International Business degree from Carleton University and a Masters in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in Ottawa, Ontario.
