Aleksandr Mitrofanov

I’m a resource and mining geologist with 15 years of global experience in mining project evaluation and operations. After over 10 years of technical consulting and completing more than 50 projects worldwide, I transitioned to Kinross. Over a three-year period, I managed operational geology teams of up to 55 people at Tasiast (>600 koz/yr) and La Coipa (>250 koz/yr) mines. Recently, I joined Macquarie, where I closely collaborate with the investment team to offer technical expertise in evaluating mining projects for financing decision-making.
