Adario Masty is from the Cree first nation of Whapmagostui and is also half Wendat from the community of Wendake Quebec . His career started in the environment field at the age of 19 as a wildlife protection officer for the Government of Quebec for over a decade patrolling and investigating poaching activities throughout the Cree territory which covers over 400,000 sq km's. He then worked for the Cree first Nation of Ouje-Bougoumou as the Environment administrator where he worked on several different sustainability files such as the eco-center design and concept ,mining contamination files and also started up the recycling program to name a few . He is now currently working for the Cree Nation Government as the Coordinator of the Abandoned mining exploration Clean up agreement , an 11,000,000 $ project to clean up over 500 sites throughout all of the Cree territory in Northern Quebec . When he is not working he is usually out on the land practicing the Cree way of life either hunting , fishing or trapping .
