Alexandre Deschenes-Denomme

Alexandre Deschênes-Dénommé began his career with an internship on the Amaruq project in 2015. After earning his geological engineering degree from Laval University in 2016, he joined Agnico Eagle’s Exploration Division in Nunavut. As a Junior Geological Engineer, he worked on grassroots exploration around the Amaruq, Meadowbank, and Meliadine projects. After two years with the Project Evaluation group, Alexandre returned to Nunavut in 2021 as an Exploration Coordinator at Meliadine and later became a Senior Exploration Engineer at Hope Bay until 2024. He is now the Mine Exploration Coordinator at the Odyssey mine, contributing to the exploration of a potential world-class deposit.
