Angele Poitras

A highly rated speaker at PDAC 2024, Poitras is a CMHA certified Psychological Health and Safety advisor, with 20 years experience in Health and Safety. During the last 5 years of her career she designed and lead a highly successful Mental Health Program for male dominated resource industries. The programs success were routed in evidence based science and the outstanding client comments. In her retirement she has focused on FIFO/rotational workplace mental health. Poitras is someone who has lived FIFO work, on both sides, as a partner and as the one who traveled. In 2021 she was honored to be recognized as one of Canada's Top 40 women in Safety. A seasoned speaker, trainer and facilitator she has engaged hundreds of people with her warm, compassionate and conversational dialogue that stresses It's okay not to be okay, and yes, we can have fun talking about mental health.
