Antonio Menghini

Antonio worked as a free-lance from 1990 to 2008 for engineering, hydrogeological, environmental and archaeological applications, by applying many geophysical methods: Frequency and Time Domain EM, DC current, Magnetic methods. During the same period he run hydrogeological activity (pumping tests, groundwater balances, groundwater detections). He worked as geophysical consultant (2006-2009) for two Norwegian companies: Rocksource (for oil industry) and Nordic Mining (for mining industry). He focused on the application of onshore EM methods, by means of feasibility studies and field testing, besides the participation to EM workshops and conferences all over the World. He was employed by Aarhus Geofisica s.r.l. (now EMergo s.r.l.), in 2008, for processing, inversion and interpretation of airborne TEM data, in different geological settings and for different targets (Groundwater, Mining, Oil and Geotechnics). Since 2021, he has started to work with NRG Europa, a new airborne geophysical provider in which EMergo is involved as main partner. During the period 2008-2019 he played the role of Associate Editor, as expert in EM methods, for the Journal of Environmental and Engineering Geophysics (EEGS). He is member of the following international geophysical society: SEG, EAGE, ASEG and EEGS.
