Dr Bo Lidegaard, historian, writer, and one of the founders of Kaya Partners political advisory firm. Bo has three decades experience as a geo-political and climate advisor, top-level diplomat and G20 sherpa, climate change negotiator, newspaper editor, and writer on contemporary history. Bo served as top diplomatic and national security advisor for six years in the Office of the Danish Prime Minister and in that capacity lead the political negotiations in the lead up to the Climate Summit in Copenhagen 2009. He maintains a personal network with high-ranking officials throughout Europe and the US. 2016-21 he worked as Managing Director and lead on EU and Climate Change with Macro Advisory Partners, London. In 2021 Bo co-founded Kaya Partners to provide high level, business oriented advise where geopolitics intersect with climate transition, industrial policy, and green technology. Kaya is now established in London, Copenhagen; Brussels and Washington advising major corporations and financial operators on political dynamics around the energy and climate transition. Based in Copenhagen, Bo is leading Kaya’s Greenland practice focusing on Hydro Power, P2X opportunities and Critical Minerals supply chains.
