Carsten Scholl
Senior R&D Geophysicist,
Viridien
Milano,
Italy
Carsten Scholl completed his degree (2001) in Geophysics and PhD (2005) on the processing, inversion and interpretation of ground long-offset transient EM data, both at the University of Cologne, followed by a post-doc at the University of Toronto on marine EM. In 2008, he joined Fugro’s marine and airborne EM team, building EM inversion capability. The same Fugro group joined CGG in 2013, eventually becoming Viridien's Multiphysics group, where Carsten continues to develop and apply forward and inverse algorithms and workflows for active source electromagnetic and potential field methods in the mining, O&G and engineering sectors.
