Catherine Hume
Cathy Hume has built her career in Investor Relations, specializing in small-cap companies. She recognized their intrinsic needs from the point of view of a Toronto retail broker, a position she held for 11 years. Cathy’s integrity and personable personality have fostered enduring business relationships and permitted her portfolio of clients to grow exclusively from referrals since 1993. Cathy has volunteered over the years by supporting several not-for-profit organizations as well as professional associations. Cathy served several terms on the Board of Directors of the PDAC. She was Co-Chair of Women In Mining, Toronto, and the creator and instructor of Ryerson University’s course “Resource Valuation, Financing, and Investor Relations”, created by Cathy, offered by The Chang School of Business as part of its Certificate in Mining Management. She is a mentor in External Business for the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre.
