Manuel Duguet is a structural geologist and metamorphic petrologist who earned his PhD in Earth Sciences at the University of Orléans (France) in 2003. After a post-doctoral position at the University of Waterloo between 2005 and 2008 where he investigated the structural evolution of the Bird River greenstone belt (Manitoba), Manuel joined the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) in September 2008 as a Precambrian Geoscientist. During his career at the OGS, Manuel has been mapping across the province of Ontario Proterozoic (Grenville Province, Huronian Supergroup) and Archean terranes (Abitibi, Kapuskasing structural zone and Quetico subprovince). Since 2019, Manuel has been looking at the structural control of the Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum-type pegmatites across Ontario and particularly in the Georgia Lake area (Quetico Subprovince).
