Spodumene pegmatites constitute a large proportion of the world’s high-grade lithium resources. This session explores their geological context, local and system-scale ore formation mechanisms, exploration approaches and mineralogical characteristics. A series of case studies focuses on large deposits and deposit clusters, including advancing projects worldwide.
