The New discoveries session, as its name implies, showcases some of the most important new discoveries in Canada and across the world in the past year. The innovative work by Kobold is showcased with the Mingomba Project, a major new Tier-One copper discovery and development in Zambia. The Oko West deposit, discovered by Reunion Gold, is the latest major gold discovery in Guyana and was acquired recently by GMining. The very high-grade gold mineralization being explored on the Odienne Project in Côte d’Ivoire by Awale Resources and its partner Newmont shows that West Africa remains a very promising region for exploration. At the Adina project in the James Bay region of Quebec, Winsome Resources is developing the third-largest lithium resource in North America, according to the company. The LDS Project in Brazil, spearheaded by Lavras Gold Corp., unveils a highly prospective gold deposit with robust economic potential, positioned to become a cornerstone asset in one of South America's most resource-rich regions.
