As part of PDAC 2026, Estonia is delighted to host a high‑impact morning session showcasing the country’s rapidly advancing mineral resources sector and its expanding role in strategic supply chains.

Bringing together leaders from government, industry, and innovation, the event offers a unique opportunity to explore Estonia’s mineral potential, examine Europe–Canada cooperation on securing critical raw materials, and discover cutting‑edge Estonian technologies shaping the future of sustainable mining.

Estonia is emerging as a key contributor to secure and sustainable supply chains. The country holds significant deposits of critical raw materials — including high‑purity phosphates, rare earth elements, and oil‑shale‑derived minerals — and is home to Europe’s first commercial‑scale rare earth permanent magnet manufacturing. Combined with strong environmental standards, advanced digital infrastructure, a rapidly growing clean‑tech ecosystem, and a tech‑savvy workforce, Estonia offers a reliable and innovation‑driven foundation for the next generation of critical materials processing and downstream manufacturing.

This growing partnership is already earning global attention. At the G7 summit in July 2025, Mark Carney and Ursula von der Leyen highlighted the strength of Estonia’s contribution to secure supply chains with showcasing a permanent magnet manufactured in Estonia by a Canadian company, a powerful symbol of the trusted collaboration driving the next generation of critical technologies.

Let’s kick off PDAC 2026 with meaningful discussion, fresh insights, and a great breakfast to fuel the day.
