Adil Kieray is a Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, at BMO Capital Markets. He has over 15 years of experience advising public and private clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, valuations, and fairness opinions. He has led and executed mandates exceeding $200 billion in aggregate value, with the past seven years focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors. Adil leads BMO Capital Markets’ financial advisory practice for Indigenous Partnership transactions in Canada. Notable engagements include advising Enbridge on its landmark $1.12 billion sale of an 11.57% interest in seven Enbridge-operated pipelines serving Alberta’s oil sands to Athabasca Indigenous Investments – a consortium of 23 First Nation and Métis communities. He also advised on Wolf Infrastructure’s partnership with the Northern Lakeland Indigenous Alliance, in which five Alberta Indigenous communities acquired a ~43% interest in the Access NGL Pipeline System, supported by a $103 million AIOC loan guarantee and an equity investment of approximately $100 million. Adil also has deep relationships with provincial and federal loan guarantee programs that enable Indigenous Partnership transactions across Canada.
