Alexander Wilson

Alex is a geoscientist and software developer with a PhD in physical volcanology and eruption process modelling from the University of British Columbia. He has experience working across academia and the mining industry, including field exploration, geological mapping and deposit modelling. At Seequent, Alex leads the development of Driver, a 3D modelling solution that applies machine learning to interpret structural features in sparse drilling data. He’s passionate about solving geological modelling challenges through innovative algorithms grounded in practical geology.
