Antoine Schwartzmann, M.Sc., P.Geo., is a Project Geologist with nearly a decade of exploration experience in Canada and internationally. Since joining Oregroup in 2018, he has been responsible for geological data management, 3D modelling, and targeting, working closely with the Vice President of Exploration on drill planning, integration of historical datasets, and support for NI 43-101–compliant technical disclosures. His recent work has focused on advancing XXIX Metal Corp.'s copper–nickel–PGE projects in Ontario, including the Thierry project near Pickle Lake.
From 2015 to 2018, Mr. Schwartzmann worked with Newmont in French Guiana as an Exploration Geologist, contributing to greenfield and advanced-stage programs in remote rainforest environments. He completed his geoscience training in France at BRGM, the national reference institution for Earth sciences and resource management, and carried out his master’s thesis with International Explorers & Prospectors Inc. (IEP) in Ontario, where he conducted lithogeochemical mapping to identify new exploration targets and refine regional prospectivity models.
