Bob Carmichael

Mr. Carmichael has been with the Lundin Group since 2006, having spent 6 years based in southern Portugal and England with Lundin Mining before joining NGEx Minerals in 2011 and transitioning to Andean porphyry exploration. Since 2011 he has led exploration efforts in the Vicuña District, including the expansion of the Josemaria Deposit and the discovery of the significant Cu-Au sulphide deposit at Filo del Sol. Prior the Lundin Group, Mr. Carmichael acted as Vice President, Exploration for EuroZinc Mining Corporation and held executive positions and directorships for several other Canadian exploration companies operating internationally. He has also been a director and first Vice President of the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AME BC) and sat on the technical committee for Geoscience BC. Mr. Carmichael is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of British Columbia, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia and is based in North Saanich.
