Carolyn Burns

Carolyn is Head of The Resource Exchange at RESOLVE. In this role, she works with a team to strengthen inclusive, local governance in the natural resource context. Carolyn is a social performance practitioner with expertise leading collaborative problem-solving, training and research projects in the resources sector with affected communities, companies, governments, and civil society organisations. She is an active, inclusive facilitator and has experience working with people in countries around the world. Carolyn lives in Toronto, Canada with her family. She has a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, a Graduate Certificate in Community Relations in the Extractive Sector from Queen’s University, Accreditation from the Partnership Brokers Association, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.
