Circe Malo-Lalande

Ms. Circe Malo-Lalande graduated from Laval University in Geological Engineering (2001) and from École Polytechnique de Montreal with a master’s degree in Applied Geophysics (2003). Since then, she has played many roles in the Mining Industry, developing a wide experience. From Junior geophysicist to Scientific Director at Abitibi Geophysics (2003-2011), to Project Geophysicist at Anglo American Ltd. (2011-2015) and to General Manager at Instrumentation GDD (2015-2018), she has contributed to numerous exploration projects around the world. Since 2018, Circé serves as Senior Geophysicist for the Exploration department at Canadian Royalties Inc., a Ni-Cu-PGE producer in Nunavik, Northern Québec. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she has been actively promoting Geophysics through academic channels, sharing her experience and passion with future geoscientists.
