Conor McKinley has worked on a wide variety of gold and base metal exploration projects in Canada, the United States, and Greece since 2006. Prior to his current role as Vice President Exploration at Onyx Gold, he served as Senior Geologist and Ontario Project Manager for HighGold Mining, where he was responsible for the planning and execution of exploration programs as well as associated permitting, land management, and public consultation. Previously he was Senior Project Geologist for Constantine Metal Resources on the Palmer zinc-copper project in Alaska where he oversaw drilling activities over several exploration programs. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geological Sciences from Queen’s University and an M.Sc. in Earth Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is a registered Professional Geoscientist in the provinces of British Columbia and Ontario and is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG).
