Emmanuelle Toussaint has 30 years of management experience in both the private and public sectors. A lawyer and a seasoned executive, she was named one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2021 by WXN, the Women's Executive Network. Over the course of her career, she has received numerous awards.
Having held strategic positions, including Vice President, Commercialization, at Cleo Innovations, a subsidiary of Hydro-Québec, and Vice President, Legal, Regulatory and Public Affairs, at Prevost and Nova Bus (Volvo Group), Ms. Toussaint has in-depth expertise in sustainable development and transportation electrification.
Her diverse career path has also led her to work in the manufacturing, medical, aerospace, IT, biotechnology, municipal, and academic sectors. Her knowledge of public affairs, legal matters, and strategy are also valuable assets for her current position as President and CEO of the Quebec Mining Association.
As a corporate director, she serves on the board of the Conseil Patronal en Environnement. Ms. Toussaint has also sat on the boards of several major organizations, including the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA), the Fédération des Chambres de commerce du Québec, Propulsion Québec, CUTRIC, and Volvo Group Canada.
She is also a frequent speaker and panelist, having participated in more than fifty local and international events in recent years.
