Geneviève Morinville holds a B.Sc. in biology and environmental studies and a Ph.D. in fish and aquatic ecology. She has over twenty years of experience managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, primarily in Canada’s mining sector in remote regions. As Vice President of Sustainable Development and Regulatory Affairs at Winsome Resources, she leads the company’s sustainable development strategy, fosters strong relationships with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, and works to maximize local benefits during project development. She and her team are responsible for regulatory processes, including environmental and social impact assessments, baseline studies, and ensuring environmental compliance. Her active field presence provides her with a deep, firsthand understanding of community priorities and environmental challenges.
