Jennie Gjertsen

Jennie Gjertsen is Fuerte Metals Corporations' Vice-President Sustainability and External Relations, she has 20 years of multi-metallic mining experience across all stages of mine development. In her time with Newmont, Goldcorp, Capstone Copper, Kaminak, and Yukon Zinc, she has worked on site and in camps at several mines around the Yukon, and provided strategic advice for projects throughout the Americas. She has extensive experience leading environmental, permitting, and Indigenous and community engagement, focused on early stage mine planning and execution. Jennie is Past-President and current Board member for Yukon Women in Mining and is a Board Member of the Yukon Hospital Foundation.
