Jon Hey, a geoscientist with 15 years of experience, has been with Baffinland since 2017 and currently leads exploration for Nunavut. As Senior Director, he oversees exploration initiatives and long-term planning for iron ore and other commodities across northern Baffin Island. His leadership combines technical expertise with values derived from a strong commitment to health and safety, environmental stewardship, and sustainable development. This approach ensures responsible exploration that respects the Arctic environment and the communities where Baffinland operates. Jon is a member of both PGO and NAPEG.
