Katherine Arenas-Collao

Katherine is a Mining Engineer from Chile who has built her career around advancing sustainability in the mining industry. After relocating to Canada as a Master’s student at Queen’s University, she focused her research on Inclusion and Diversity in mining, deepening her understanding of the social dimensions and community impacts of the sector. She is currently a Sustainability Management Specialist for the Parts & Services Division at Epiroc, a global supplier of mining equipment. In this role, her work centers on increasing female participation in operational roles and fostering a more inclusive workplace culture both within Epiroc and across customer operations.
