Mrs. Kristl Tipton is a professional geologist with over 20 years of experience in mining and exploration. She spent 10 years working in the uranium industry before transitioning to potash. Before taking on her current role as Manager of Global Potash Exploration at Nutrien, she worked as a Senior Mine Geologist at the company’s Lanigan operation. In her current role, she and her team evaluate the technical merit of potash deposits around the world.
Kristl’s career spans multiple commodities and a range of technical and leadership roles across exploration, mining, and environmental project work. She holds a Master’s degree in Geological Engineering specializing in hydrogeology and is an active contributor to the geoscience and mining communities. Her involvement includes mentorship, professional board service, and support for international resource-development initiatives.
