Laurie Swami

Ms. Swami is an accomplished nuclear sector leader with a broad and deep experience base. She is currently the president and chief executive officer of the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, where she directed the site selection process for Canada’s permanent deep geological repository. She previously served in roles of increasing responsibility, including as senior vice president for decommissioning & nuclear waste management, at Ontario Power Generation. She holds a B.Sc. in chemical engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the York University Schulich School of Business.
