Mathieu Richer

Mr. Mathieu Richer holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology from McGill University (2002) and a master’s degree in science (Geology) from the University of British Columbia (2006). Mathieu began his career in gold exploration in El Salvador and Guatemala with Pacific Rim Mining Corp. (2003-2008). Seeking to broaden his impact, he dedicated 8 years to humanitarian work in India (2009-2017). Mathieu returned to geology in 2017 as a consultant with IOS Services Géoscientifiques on the Nunavik Nickel Project of Canadian Royalties Inc. He began a full-time role with Canadian Royalties in 2019, where 2 years later he contributed to the discovery of the Inukshuk Ni-Cu-PGM deposit. Since January 2022, he has served as Senior Exploration Geologist, where he continues to contribute to exploration on the Nunavik Nickel Project.
