Rosmery Cardenas

Rosmery Cárdenas is a Technical Manager – Geology at SLR Consulting and the Coordinator of the Canada Branch of the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (PIME). At SLR, she provides strategic technical guidance to mining companies and investors, specializing in mineral resource estimation across the full project lifecycle. Her expertise includes due diligence, independent engineering reviews, audits, resource estimation, and public disclosure under NI 43 101, SEC S K 1300, and the JORC Code. She also delivers technical training on mineral resource estimation and public reporting. With over 23 years of experience, Rosmery has held technical roles at major operators such as Barrick and Glencore, in Peru and the Dominican Republic. Her background ranges from early-stage exploration—including contributions to the Lagunas Norte discovery—to operational roles in both open-pit and underground environments. As Coordinator of PIME Canada, Rosmery plays a pivotal role in strengthening technical exchange, professional networks, and institutional collaboration between Peru and Canada, advancing shared technical excellence within both mining communities.
