Valerie Wilson

Valerie Wilson is a Technical Director in SLR’s Mining Advisory Group and a Principal Resource Geologist with over eighteen years of industry experience. She focuses on team development, and the evaluation of geological and resource models across a wide range of commodities and deposit types. She supports public disclosure in Canada, the UK, the USA, and Australia, and conducts due-diligence reviews for mining investments and transactions. Valerie holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Victoria and an M.Sc. in Mining Geology (Geostatistics) from the Camborne School of Mines. She has delivered training to mining companies, presented short courses on Mineral Resource estimation at PDAC, AME Roundup, and PGO, and currently chairs the PDAC Convention Planning Committee and serves on the PDAC Board.
