Nandini Menon

Nandini Menon is an Environmental Data Scientist at SRK Exploration with 3 years of experience in geospatial data science, remote sensing, and big data analysis. She leads the development of EXSAT, SRK’s internal geospatial web platform, automating access to satellite and earth observation data for mining-related applications. Her work includes SCAR-UNET, a deep learning model for mapping mine workings, lithium pegmatite prospectivity studies using multispectral imagery and machine learning, and ESG fuzzy-logic site suitability modelling for responsible mineral targeting. She has worked on regional-scale mineral targeting projects in Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Namibia and Nigeria. Nandini is proficient in Python, JavaScript and R, with hands‑on experience in NumPy, (Geo)Pandas, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch and TensorFlow, and specialises in integrating remote sensing, geoscience data and machine learning for mineral exploration and risk assessment.
