With over 20 years of experience in economic development, impact and responsible investments, and value chain development, Cornelio is a seasoned leader in sustainability and ESG within the mining industry. He currently serves as the Director of Sustainability at Orla Mining, a Canadian company focused on developing precious metal assets in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. He holds a BA in Economics and Natural Resources from the Catholic University of Ecuador, as well as a Master's in Public Administration and Natural Resources from Queen's University, earned through its School of Policy Studies and the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining.
