Dennis Stansbury has served as B2Gold's Senior Vice President of Engineering and Project Evaluations (and prior to that B2Gold's Senior VP of Development and Production) since March 2007. Mr. Stansbury is a mining engineer with over 45 years of engineering, construction, production and management experience at surface and underground mines in over fifteen countries. After working for a number of gold and base metals mining companies in South America and the United States, he joined Bema Gold Corporation as Vice President South America in 1994 and was appointed VP of Development and Production in 1996. Mr. Stansbury has a Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology.
