Jon is a geoscience consultant with expertise in the processing and interpretation of geophysical data, specifically in its application to porphyry copper systems from the belt to deposit scale. His focus on geophysics stems from formative years as an exploration geologist and researcher mapping the covered regions of the Central African Copperbelt. A copper generative role with a mining major and relocation to North America led to a decade of integrated targeting studies that span the length and breadth of the Cordilleran porphyry belts and beyond. Jon has a B.Sc. in geology and an M.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand. He earned his Ph.D. from the Colorado School of Mines and provides consulting services from a base in Golden Colorado.
