Julie Kong

I have over 35 years of experience in all aspect of diamond exploration from mineral system targeting, discovery to deposit development. For the last five years, I have led the De Beers Global Exploration team responsible for diamond exploration in Canada and Southern Africa and for providing geoscience expertise and laboratory services to our operations. I was involved in the discovery of 11 kimberlite clusters and in the evaluation of 5 kimberlite clusters resulting in 2 mines. I am passionate about diamond exploration, developing capability within the team and making positive impact in the communities and governments we are privilege to partner with.
