Mark Podlasly, a member of the Nlaka’pamux Nation in British Columbia, Canada is the Chief Sustainability Officer at the First Nations Major Projects Coalition (FNMPC), a national 170+ First Nations organization dedicated to ensuring Indigenous environmental and economic values are incorporated into major projects (>$100m) in traditional territories. FNMPC is actively supporting its members on 17 major projects with a total capital expenditure of C$40 billion. www.fnmpc.ca Mark is a board director of CIBC and Hydro One, serving on the audit and human resources committees, and a trustee of his First Nation’s mining revenue trust fund.
