Matthew Grimshaw

Matthew is a Chartered Geologist with a decade of experience in natural resources, spanning both academia and industry. Dedicated to breaking down silos within the industry, Matthew leverages his cross-disciplinary experience to bring practical training experiences that connect with participants and deliver informed content. He advocates for responsible practices that benefit all stakeholders and is passionate about promoting responsible resource management. Matthew has delivered technical training to government geologists in Uzbekistan and Russia, conducted workshops with local communities and stakeholders in Africa, and facilitated numerous training courses for major mining companies. These courses covered a large mine development and included training a team of exploration geologists and their associated partner companies. Additionally, Matthew has designed and delivered educational modules for university students.
