Over the last five years machine learning has been a growing subject of conversation in the mining industry. Machine learning is becoming an appealing tool in various fields of earth sciences, especially in resource estimation. From targeting mineral deposits to a connected mining environment, there is no doubt that artificial intelligence will play a key role in our industry in the near future. It is projected that implementing new algorithms on historical data will revolutionize mineral exploration.

This is a subject that can seem obscure and hard to grasp which creates apprehension among geoscientists. This webinar will cover key concepts of machine learning and case studies illustrating the advantages and challenges of using machine learning in exploration.
