Having worked within the mining industry in a variety of functions including exploration, sustainability, risk management, and assurance, Sarah co-founded Satarla in 2014. Satarla provides sustainability and risk management services, including consultancy and bespoke training to a range of organisations. Voted as one of the top 10 most inspirational women in mining in 2016, Sarah is a Professor of Practice at Imperial College London and the Co-Director of the Centre for Future Materials, a research associate at University of Johannesburg, a primary training designer and facilitator for the IRM, and a go-to ESG trainer for Edumine. Sarah regularly provides advice and training for governments, and is often involved with international conferences, giving a keynote talks, contributing to panel session and delivering invited training courses. Sarah also ran a sell-out course at PDAC 2023.
