Simon Chorley

Simon Chorley is a human rights, modern slavery and social impact lead for ERM Canada, supporting companies across the project life cycle and in multiple jurisdictions on all aspects of responsible business conduct, from strategies and management systems through impact assessments and mitigation to communications and reporting. Prior to ERM, Simon helped lead UNICEF’s global engagement of the extractive sector on human rights, modern slavery, and security arrangements, and also previously led the government and business engagement activities of a global anti-human trafficking organization. Simon has collaborated with governments and companies to co-author numerous tools for businesses on human rights and social impact, and has been a regular speaker at PDAC and other industry events over the years.
