Steven Reid

Steven is Head of CIBC Capital Markets’ Global Mining Group with experience working in Toronto, London and Asia. Steven has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector and has an extensive track record in advising a wide range of metals and mining companies around the world in structuring and executing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, equity financings, initial public offerings and other capital raisings. Steven has also historically been involved with a number of Toronto based charitable foundations including Mining Matters, Out of the Cold and HouseLink. Steven holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters in Finance M.Sc. from London Business School in London, England.
