The Peru Day event aims to promote the development of the mining and energy sectors in Peru through a strategic approach that fosters investment, sustainability, and conflict resolution. The event will begin with a presentation on trends and challenges in a pre-election year. Key topics such as the potential of hydrogen as an energy source, progress in exploration, and the perspective and importance of critical mineral-producing countries, like Peru, will be discussed.
Following this, discussion panels will focus on three key areas: incentivizing mining investment and combating illegal mining, innovation as a driver for accelerating investment in mining exploration, regulatory mechanisms to streamline the implementation of mining projects, and an analysis of the economic environment to promote private investment in the sector.
Peru Day also seeks to create a space for constructive dialogue between the government, industry, and other relevant stakeholders, in order to find solutions that promote a more equitable and sustainable mining development.
