Jeff Swinoga

Jeff is a highly respected executive with over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. As a thought leader, he aligns strategic insights with business objectives, driving growth, promoting diversity and sustainability, and raising capital. Currently, Jeff is the CEO of Exploits Discovery and serves on the boards of Radisson Resources, Scandium Canada, and Mountain Province Diamonds. Previously, he was the National EY Mining & Metals Co-Leader & Partner, CEO of First Mining Gold, and held key CFO roles at Torex Gold, HudBay Minerals, Golden Star Resources, and North American Palladium. Jeff also held senior roles at Barrick Gold for seven years. Throughout his career, he has led project financings totaling $2 billion and raised over $400 million in equity. His notable project experience includes Torex's $800 million gold project in Mexico, North American Palladium's $300 million Offset Zone project in Canada, and Barrick's $200 million Bulyanhulu and $250 million Veladero projects in Africa and Argentina. Jeff holds a CPA, an MBA, and an Honours degree in Economics. He has been married for 30 years with three adult children (with one looking to join our mining industry as an environmental engineer).
