Bob Linnen is a professor emeritus in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Western Ontario and is the former Robert Hodder Chair in Economic Geology. He has worked in critical metals since 1985, and is an international expert in mineralization in pegmatite deposits, including numerous lithium pegmatites in North America, Asia and Africa. Since 2022 he has been the Chief Geologist Lithium for KoBold Metals.
