Hyperspectral Intelligence Inc. (HII) will demonstrate how its Hyperspectral Handheld Scanner™ (HHS)—a compact, easy-to-use hyperspectral rock scanning instrument—rapidly scans RC chips to identify lithology, alteration, and mineralization. Using HII’s purpose-built RC Chip Scanning Tray, material from a standard 20-compartment RC chip container will be poured into the tray and scanned. The HHS collects approximately 100 high-quality, high-resolution Visible–SWIR spectra in under 30 seconds without making contact with the sample, representing a major advancement in hyperspectral rock scanning technology. The live demo will showcase the complete workflow—from data acquisition to output production and display outputs from active projects. This hands-on session demonstrates how HII’s technology delivers faster, higher-quality rock identification insights, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of RC chip logging where visual methods alone often fall short.
