Session Details
Marten Falls First Nation and Webequie First Nation are the proponents of an Indigenous-led Environmental Assessment/Impact Assessment (EA/IA), for the design, construction and operation/maintenance of a proposed all-season multi-use road – the Northern Road Link.
The NRL Project Team will host a Showcase for two days on Sunday, March 1, 2026 and Monday, March 2, 2026 to share information and updates about the project.
The event will open with welcoming remarks by First Nations Leadership, followed by the project leads Michael Fox of Indigenous and Community Engagement and Qasim Saddique of Suslop and a presentation. There will also be fireside chats and panel presentations on Aboriginal, Treaty Rights and Interests (ATRI) and building on peatland. In between sessions, the Showcase Room will operate as an open house with subject matter experts available to answer questions and speak with attendees about the progress to date and what's next for the Northern Road Link.
