Victoria (Vicki) Yehl joined the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) in 2016, and is currently the Manager, Mining. Her contributions include the development of advanced analytics, active involvement in policy initiatives, and delivering numerous presentations on National Instrument 43-101. Prior to her work at the BCSC, Victoria spent over two decades with a senior-tier mining company, gaining global experience across exploration, production, and business development for a variety of commodities. Vicki is committed to the mining industry and has actively volunteered with several organizations, including the Vancouver Mining Exploration Group (MEG), the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME BC) Roundup Conference, and the Geological Association of Canada (GAC), among others.
She holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Toronto, an M.Sc. in Geology from Queen’s University, and a GDBA (Mining) from Simon Fraser University. Victoria is also a registered professional geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
