Session Details
It’s been 15 years since the last major update to National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects and its associated Technical Report Form. In June 2025, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) released proposed revisions for public comment, aiming to modernize, harmonize, and streamline disclosure requirements for mineral projects. These updates are designed to:
- Strengthen Canada’s leadership in global mining capital markets
- Provide companies with clearer, practical disclosure standards
- Ensure investors receive consistent, comparable, and decision-useful information
- Expanded guidance in the Companion Policy also clarifies expectations for technical reports.
This half-day short course, led by regulatory staff from multiple CSA jurisdictions, offers a valuable opportunity to understand the proposed changes and their potential impact on all companies. Attendees will hear directly from the technical experts who drafted the updates and have ample opportunity to ask questions. Geologists, engineers, executives, directors, and mining lawyers involved in mineral project disclosure should take this course .
Topics covered:
- Updated terms and definitions
- Mineral resource disclosure
- Indigenous Peoples and rightsholders
- Royalty issuers and technical reports
