Annemarie Brissenden

A Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR), Annemarie is an experienced investor relations professional. She has played lead roles in several financings, an initial public offering, a transformative corporate merger, and a spin out. A seasoned corporate communicator who has written for clients in the resource, cultural, legal, political, and corporate worlds, her background includes journalism and plain language writing. Annemarie sits on the national board of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI), contributes to IR Leader, and served as a judge for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s Awards of Excellence. A guest-lecturer on IR and corporate writing at Seneca and Conestoga colleges as well as CIRI’s Essentials of Investor Relations course, she is a regular speaker on how to communicate complex information effectively.
